New Hope Christian Church
Celebrating our Past and Present…Looking forward to our Future
New Hope Christian Church traces its’ roots to 1993 as a few families gathered being led by the Lord to establish a church in Hutto, Texas which at that time was a small, farming community. In its’ early years, the people of New Hope would come together for worship and fellowship in homes, school facilities, and would even utilize other church facilities for gatherings. Eventually, they began meeting regularly at Hutto Elementary School, and worship services were held there until 2009.
In May 2009, New Hope moved to 206 Farley Street in Downtown Hutto. At this location, New Hope soon outgrew the worship space and in February 2011, completed an expansion project adding more space and a nursery. During those years, the church held its Children’s and Youth Ministries in the Church Office Building (J-K Building) at 113 East Street, which was just a few feet away.
God blessed New Hope with its current location in October 2015 as the church family of Cornerstone Baptist Church was led by God to donate their 10 acres and buildings to our church. New Hope is beyond grateful for the incredible generosity of Cornerstone Baptist Church and thanks God for working this together for His Kingdom.
New Hope has been blessed by its family and faithful servants over the years, and many have devoted their time to sharing the love of God with others through the church’s ministries. Three Pastors have served in the church’s history. Billy Bob Cox helped establish New Hope and ended his tenure in 2004. In 2005, Mike Crow began serving and left in May 2008. Michael Roepke has been the Pastor of New Hope since 2008.
New Hope strives in every way to be a church of God’s people who love the Lord, follow His Word, and love one another in a friendly atmosphere. We want this to be your “family” and your “home”. It is a place for every person to worship, fellowship, study, and serve the Lord together while building relationships with each other.
